Hi! I’m Travis Black.

I’m a storyteller, seeker, and lifelong student of mystery, based in Brazil.

My primary goal as a practitioner is to alleviate suffering, internally and externally, through practical, innovative, and evidence-based approaches. My academic training in social psychology and religious studies informs how I understand influence, power, and the social conditions shaping belief and behavior.

Over the past 30 years, my study of metaphysics and spirituality has included deep engagement with, and initiation into, a range of Western esoteric schools and Eastern spiritual lineages.

It is my observation and experience that neither psychology nor spirituality, in isolation, reliably produces lasting change. An informed integration of the two offers a more meaningful path forward.

As a survivor of a transpersonal psychology–influenced cult in childhood, my work is informed by firsthand experience of how spiritual and psychological frameworks can be misused. I am committed to demystifying this intersection and preventing the exploitation of vulnerable individuals in these spaces.
